Baby Sister Is Coming - Family Maternity Photography at Stow Lake, San Francisco

Oh how special this darling family is to me. Any day now, Lauren & Matt will be expecting another little girl, and I'm so happy we were able to shoot these family maternity photos together at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park. What you're looking at is a super mom, who shines beautifully through all the hard work and pain of building a new human whilst caring for another rambunctious &  intelligent tiny human (big sis).

I can't wait to meet the newest Van Horn... congrats L&M&S!

Celebrating Baby #2 at The Palace of Fine Arts - Family Maternity Photography

I am so thrilled for Laura and Ian on their growing family! They traveled from Philadelphia to visit San Francisco with their first born, and in between adventures to the Redwoods and soaking in the coast line, I was lucky to spend some time capturing photos of this family in their last couple months as a family of three (followed by Thai food!).

We visited The Palace of Fine Arts, a great place for expecting mamas, as it's super walkable and a gorgeous San Francisco icon. Although I was prepared with umbrellas for the expected rain, we were greeted with the most beautiful warm sunshine!

Maternity Selfies With My Son, Noah

We are expecting our second born this April. I've always wanted to have some photos with my now 3-year-old son, Noah during my pregnancy, but somehow life just gets in the way! So one day, we spontaneously cleaned up and set up our studio at home just for fun. I cut his hair, and added a few curls to my own. :) The only thing missing is his daddy. Here are the two of us a couple weeks ago at 35 weeks pregnant. When Noah's little sister arrives, I can't wait to share some photos. 

Fonseca Family Portraits and Baby Announcement at Lafayette Park, San Francisco

I first met the Fonseca family for baby Elias's 1st birthday portraits, where he dressed up as Max from Where the Wild Things Are. I was so happy to see the family all together for a quick mini session at Lafayette Park in San Francisco with lots of silly faces! As a bonus, we also took a few baby announcement photos featuring Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 (coming soon!).
